The Concept

NASA was looking to gather data for a futuristic plane that would travel at 8 times the speed of sound. Typically, when new planes are tested, other planes fly alongside them collecting the information. Unfortunately, traditional methods were unable to capture data on something so advanced. Our solution was to view the real time model flight inside a 3D environment.

The Challenge

The speed of a bullet is estimated to reach Mach 1. So, how can we visualize a 12 foot model flying faster than Mach 11?

The Solution

Create a real-time data streaming 3D visualization.

The Result - ROI

Hit multiple major deliverables on time. Successfully replicated cockpit and controls, as if the pilot were flying alongside in real time
