This policy explains what information Pineapples (“we”, “us”) collects when you use pineapples.dev, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email hello@pineapples.dev.
Information you give us
- Newsletter and downloads. When you subscribe or request a checklist, guide, or other resource, we collect your email address and the resource you asked for.
- Chat.When you use the chat assistant on the site, we process the messages you send so it can answer you. Please don’t share sensitive personal information in the chat.
- Booking a call.Calls are scheduled through Calendly. The details you enter there are handled under Calendly’s privacy policy and shared with us so we can meet.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and HubSpot to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how people arrive. These tools use cookies and similar technologies and collect information like your browser, device, approximate location, and pages viewed. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs.
How we use information
- To send the newsletter or resources you requested.
- To answer questions and follow up on inquiries you start.
- To run, secure, and improve the site.
We don’t sell your personal information.
Service providers
We share information only with vendors that help us run the site, including:
- Vercel, for hosting.
- Google, for analytics and for storing newsletter and download sign-ups.
- HubSpot, for site analytics and managing our business contacts.
- Resend, for sending email.
- Anthropic, which provides the AI model behind the chat assistant.
- Calendly, for scheduling calls.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights.
Your choices
- Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@pineapples.dev.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete it. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
The site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. See also our Terms of Service.
